Start with a Defined Order Brief
Glasmero coordinates OEM glass cup projects for importers, distributors, hospitality suppliers and private label brands. The order process connects product selection, decoration, sampling, production checks and export preparation through an agreed specification.
Send your preferred cup model, reference photographs or drawing, together with the intended application and destination market. Include material preference, dimensions, capacity, quantity per design, accessories and packaging requirements.
Identify your required delivery date and whether it refers to dispatch or arrival. This distinction helps us assess the schedule before sampling begins.
Confirm Feasibility, MOQ and Quotation Scope
We review the brief with the relevant manufacturing partners and identify whether an existing model can meet your requirements. Changes to the glass profile may require a separate tooling assessment.
MOQ depends on the selected model, material, decoration and packaging. Quantities should be confirmed per model and design; combining several styles does not automatically meet each production requirement. Small trial orders can be reviewed against available models and the requested finishing work.
The quotation should distinguish product costs from tooling, decoration setup, samples, packaging and freight where applicable. Confirm the delivery term and named location so both sides understand what the price includes.
Develop Samples Against the Agreed Specification
The sample stage should answer specific purchasing questions. An existing clear sample can confirm the basic model, while a decorated sample checks artwork placement and appearance. A packaging sample establishes product fit and presentation.
Provide usable artwork, print dimensions and positioning references before decoration sampling. Colours should be assessed on the physical sample under agreed viewing conditions.
Our glass cup sample development page explains how these sample types support approval. Sample charges and preparation time are confirmed according to the work required, with courier costs identified separately.
Approve the Production Reference
Before production release, confirm the cup specification, decoration, accessories, packaging and inspection requirements in writing. Record sample revisions clearly and identify the final approved version.
Approval should cover dimensions and tolerances, capacity definition, logo position, colour reference and acceptable appearance. Any required performance or destination-market testing needs an agreed scope; a material name alone does not establish suitability for a particular use.
Confirm the order quantity, payment terms and production schedule at this stage. Changes after approval may affect costs, materials already prepared and the delivery plan.
Follow Production and Inspection Checkpoints
Production timing depends on the model, tooling status, decoration work, packaging availability and scheduling with the manufacturing partner. The lead time should have a defined starting point, such as final approval and receipt of the agreed payment.
Inspection requirements should be established before production. Relevant checks include cup dimensions, rim and base condition, visible defects, decoration placement and accessory fit.
For a glass cup quality inspection, agree the sampling method, acceptance criteria and reporting requirements. If third-party inspection is requested, confirm access and timing before shipment arrangements are finalised.
Confirm Packing and Shipment Arrangements
Packing should follow the approved arrangement, including individual protection, set contents, carton quantities and shipping marks. Branded boxes, barcodes and labels require final artwork confirmation before printing.
Review custom glass cup packaging alongside the product specification, especially for handles, stems or multiple accessories.
Before dispatch, confirm the packing list, carton measurements, weights and documents required under the agreed shipping terms. Share your delivery address or forwarder details early so export preparation can proceed with clear responsibilities.
